Empowering individuals, organisations, and communities to drive meaningful change.

About

Welcome, I’m Hannah

Welcome! I’m Hannah Litt—an award-winning social justice activist, seasoned leader in equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism, and a Top Influential Muslim in Europe for two consecutive years. My purpose is rooted in dismantling colonial structures and reimagining leadership through empathy, reciprocity, and co-creation.

As a South Asian, Muslim woman from the East African diaspora living with ADHD, OCD, and hidden disabilities, I bring both lived experience and strategic expertise. My work is dedicated to empowering organisations, communities, and individuals to shift power dynamics, prioritise humanity over profits, and foster cultures of equity and safety.

My experience spans industries such as Automotive, Construction, Retail, Financial Services, and Technology. I have witnessed first-hand the barriers faced by marginalised communities and remain committed to driving meaningful change that challenges outdated systems and amplifies underrepresented voices

I combine lived experiences with strategic knowledge in people-led functions and employee experience. I am committed to making the workplace more inclusive and equitable for Muslim, neurodivergent people of the Global Majority by creating awareness and driving change in systems where they are most impacted but often excluded from the conversation which is why I now proudly sit as an Advisory Board Member of BAC-IN CIC. I have seen first hand how systemic barriers lead to devastating consequences which is why I have not only dedicated my career but also my life to decolonisation & social justice to ensuring the work I do is purposeful.

Through my work, I collaborate with organisations to dismantle systemic oppression, in a way that won’t feel as scary as it sounds, I will work with you to and create transformative, sustainable change. Decolonisation is not a goal—it’s a practice, a mindset, and a collective journey, so lets do this!

What I do

I offer direct, transparent guidance grounded in social justice principles

At the heart of profound change is a transformative journey requiring courage, resilience, and a commitment to dismantling barriers and fostering true inclusivity. As a leader in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Antiracism, I bring a passionate activist perspective to corporate settings. Every day, we face the harsh realities of intersecting religious and racial injustices, particularly among marginalised groups such as intersectional Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ communities.

The foundation of my work is co-creation, reciprocity, and shared power. I reject traditional, hierarchical leadership models that prioritise control and authority, and instead embrace a decolonial lens that centres humanity, equity, and collaboration.

Collaboration Over Authority: My role is not to lead or impose solutions but to work alongside you to reimagine and co-create inclusive practices and systems that reflect your unique goals.
Redistributing Power: We will examine and challenge existing power dynamics, ensuring that decision-making is shared and inclusive of all voices, particularly those historically excluded.
Prioritising Relationships: Relationships and trust-building are central to my approach. I aim to foster an environment of mutual respect, empathy, and accountability.
Transformative Change: Decolonising is not surface-level work—it requires deep examination of your organisation’s structures, policies, and practices to create sustainable, systemic change that values people over profits.

By partnering with me, you are committing to a journey of unlearning, growth, and meaningful transformation. We will co-create a future where equity, inclusion, and justice are embedded into every aspect of your organisation.

I’ve developed a framework that guides all my work, focusing on dismantling colonial systems to create equitable environments. These frameworks will allow us to:

Challenging Existing Leadership Models: Moving beyond hierarchical power structures to embrace collective leadership.
Redistributing Power: Ensuring that all voices hold value and influence within organisations.
Reimagining Policies and Practices: Embedding equity, inclusion, and Indigenous ways of knowing into business operations.

Prioritising Relationships and Reciprocity: Centring humanity, collaboration, and long-term sustainability over profits.

This approach is not about surface-level change—it’s about transforming systems to ensure equity, inclusion, and justice for everyone.

Testimonials

Kind words from my clients

Clients and collaborators talk about their experiences and the positive changes we’ve achieved together.

We had the pleasure of Hannah joining us for a talk for South Asian Heritage Month. She was a dream to work with and her insights were invaluable. She has such a profound understanding of what it takes to be truly inclusive of all people. Somehow she makes even the most taboo of topics easier to talk about by really setting the scene and creating a safe space for everyone. I would not hesitate to recommend Hannah for talks or more broad-reaching projects in DEI. She is worth every penny!

Activism

Social Justice in the Workplace

I believe deeply in the freedom and rights of all individuals. My activism, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has earned community awards. I’m vocal about the Palestinian cause and all injustices, advocating for their liberation and addressing these important issues in the workplace, even when it’s controversial. I truly believe in the interconnected liberation of us all and that we are not free until we are all free.

From a young age, I have supported Palestinian rights and believe it’s crucial to help those affected by such injustices. I’ve created safe spaces for discussions on job losses and mental health struggles, working closely with my friend Mehreen Ali. Despite personal sacrifices like strained relationships, financial challenges, and job instability, I remain committed to justice.

I urge organisations to tackle internal issues that leave employees feeling disengaged.

It’s important to recognise diverse talent from universities and refugee camps and to prioritise humanity and moral values over profits for long-term success. This commitment is a moral imperative against all forms of oppression worldwide.

I understand the challenges organisations face in implementing social justice initiatives. That’s why I offer support and guidance both independently and through Project Humanise. I’m dedicated to helping organisations navigate this journey because now is the time to embrace social justice for societal betterment and organisational sustainability.

Let me inspire and guide your organisation toward a more inclusive and just workplace. Together, we can create a future where everyone is treated with humanity, dignity, respect, and equality. Contact me to start this transformative journey together
