Let's Break It Down Workbooks

I created the Let’s Break It Down series because we need more spaces where people can pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s really happening, internally and externally. So often we’re told to just “do better,” “be better,” or “get over it,” but no one shows us how to unlearn, process, and rebuild. These guides are my answer to that gap.

Each one is a conversation starter, a mirror, and a tool for deeper self-awareness. They’re rooted in justice, lived experience, and real-world complexity. Whether you’re navigating identity, trying to understand systemic harm, or figuring out how to show up with more care and courage, reflection is the key. Without it, we repeat patterns. With it, we shift.

What They Are
Let’s Break It Down is a growing series of digital reflection guides designed to help you pause, unpack, and process. Each guide breaks down a specific topic from white supremacy culture to anti-Blackness in Muslim spaces.
offering:

Clear context and honest framing

Grounding language that doesn’t talk down to you

Deep reflection prompts to sit with and return to

Resources, quotes, and lived insights

These are not academic papers. They’re not just worksheets. They’re living tools for anyone committed to doing the real work, with themselves and with their communities.

Why Reflection is the Key

You can’t change what you won’t name. You can’t build new ways of being without facing what’s been holding you back. Reflection allows you to connect dots, challenge assumptions, and start showing up in ways that feel more aligned, more honest, and more powerful.

This isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about getting real and inner reflection…. because we all deserve better.
